Chimaev spent $600-700K building wrestling gym in Chechnya

Khamzat Chimaev revealed he spent between six hundred and seven hundred thousand dollars to build a wrestling gym for children in his village in Chechnya. He addressed critics who say he is inactive or only fights for money, stating he fights not just for himself but to help others. Chimaev explained that money gives him opportunities to assist people in his village, including helping those who are sick. He also noted that he earns millions from the UFC and even more outside the cage through sponsorships and business opportunities. Chimaev said he is living his dream and is grateful for what the UFC pays him.
