Chimaev spent $600-700K building wrestling gym in his Chechen village

Khamzat Chimaev revealed that he spent between six hundred thousand and seven hundred thousand dollars to build a wrestling gym for children in his village in Chechnya. Chimaev emphasized that he fights not only for himself but to help others, and that money provides opportunities to assist people in his community. He addressed criticism about his fight inactivity by stating he does not care what people say, as he earns millions from UFC and even more outside the octagon through sponsorships and business opportunities.
