Dana White reveals White House arena design for UFC historic event

Dana White showcased the arena design for the upcoming UFC event at the White House, emphasizing that the White House will be visible as the backdrop during fights. The stage is being constructed in Europe before being shipped to Philadelphia and then transported by truck to Washington, where it will be erected on the South Lawn of the White House. White stressed that UFC is funding the entire event privately with no taxpayer money involved, describing it as a gift from the UFC for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com. The Ellipse, a park across from the arena, will host free tickets for fans. More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend fight week events, which will include a two-day fan festival, press conference, weigh-ins, and a performance by Zac Brown Band. A large screen will display the fights for those in the Ellipse area.
