Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the upcoming White House UFC event, emphasizing that the White House must be visible in the background during the fights. The production team located a stage being constructed somewhere in Europe, which will be shipped to Philadelphia and then trucked to Washington DC for assembly on the South Lawn. White stressed that UFC is funding the entire event privately, with no taxpayer money being spent, presenting it as a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse, a large park field across from the arena, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend fight week activities. The two-day fan festival will include a press conference, weigh-ins, and performances by Zac Brown Band, with celebrity guests and big-screen fight viewing.
