White confirmed the arena is being constructed in Europe and will be shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington, D.C. for installation on the South Lawn. The UFC is funding the entire event without using any taxpayer money, positioning it as a gift to America. White emphasized the event transcends politics and is about celebrating the United States. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets to the event, which will be held at the Ellipse park across from the arena, with free admission. A two-day fan festival will accompany the fights, featuring press conferences, weigh-ins, performances by the Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and big-screen viewing, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend all weekend events.
