Dana White has unveiled the production plans for the UFC's historic White House event, showing how the arena will be constructed on the South Lawn with the White House as the backdrop. The octagon stage is currently being built in Europe before being shipped to Philadelphia and then transported to Washington D.C. White emphasized that the entire event is being funded by the UFC without any taxpayer money, describing it as a gift to America for its 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park area across from the main arena. The two-day fan festival is expected to attract more than 100,000 attendees and will feature a press conference, weigh-ins, performances by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and live fight viewing on large screens.
