Khamzat Chimaev revealed he spent between $600,000 and $700,000 to construct a wrestling gym for children in his home village in Chechnya. In an interview on the "Beyond The Win" channel, Chimaev explained that he doesn't fight only for himself and loves money because it provides opportunities to help people. He also mentioned helping villagers with medical expenses when they call him. Chimaev addressed criticism about his fight activity, saying he doesn't care what people say because he's earning millions and living his dream. He added that he earns even more money outside of fighting due to the name he has built, with sponsorships and business opportunities following him wherever he goes.
