Conor McGregor has resolved a legal dispute with former sparring partner Artem Lobov regarding the Proper No. Twelve whiskey business. Lobov had filed a lawsuit demanding a share of profits after McGregor reportedly sold his stake in Proper 12 to Proximo Spirits for over $130 million in 2021. The case was scheduled for Wednesday in Dublin High Court but was settled before trial. McGregor's statement expressed satisfaction with the resolution and thanked Lobov for his contribution to the whiskey business, adding he can now focus on training and his upcoming summer fight. Lobov stated he was happy with the outcome, though financial terms were not disclosed. McGregor did not attend the court hearings and has not fought since his July 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier due to a broken leg.
