Russian fighter Mark Vologdin, 25, is ready for his UFC debut with current training photos showing him in excellent condition. The Petrozavodsk native earned his contract after a thrilling losing effort on Dana White's Contender Series in October, where his entertaining performance earned standing ovations from Dana White and contracts for both him and opponent Adrian Luna Martinetti. Vologdin holds a 12-4-1 record with 6 knockouts and 4 submissions, and is a master of sport in Kyokushin karate. He faces experienced UFC veteran John Castaneda, who holds a 4-4 promotional record and hasn't fought in exactly one year since losing a split decision to Chris Gutierrez.
