Khamzat Chimaev addressed speculation that he might not release a submission hold against Sean Strickland in their upcoming fight. When asked by interviewer Zubairaev if security would need to separate them if he locked in a submission, Chimaev clarified his position. He stated that killing someone is haram (forbidden in Islam) and joked about the hypothetical. Chimaev made clear that while he might finish a street fight that way, inside the cage it's just sport and officials wouldn't allow him to take it that far anyway.
