Khamzat Chimaev explains he won't kill Sean Strickland in their fight

Khamzat Chimaev addressed fan speculation about whether he would refuse to release a submission hold against Sean Strickland in their upcoming bout. When asked by interviewer Adam Zubairayev if security would need to separate them if he locked in a submission, Chimaev joked that killing someone would be haram (forbidden). He clarified that he has no intention of killing Strickland, noting that officials would not allow it anyway. Chimaev distinguished between street fighting and professional sport, saying that in the cage it remains a sporting contest.
