Khamzat Chimaev says he won't kill Sean Strickland in their fight

In an interview with Adam Zubairayev, Khamzat Chimaev clarified that he does not plan to kill Sean Strickland in their upcoming bout. When asked if he would refuse to release a submission hold on Strickland, requiring security to intervene, Chimaev responded that he does not want to kill anyone because it is haram (forbidden in Islam). He added that even if he wanted to, he would not be allowed to kill Strickland in the cage, noting that while on the street someone could die, in the cage it is a sport. The exchange came after Zubairayev referenced fan speculation about Chimaev not releasing submission holds.
