Khamzat Chimaev jokes he won't kill Sean Strickland in their fight

In an interview with Adam Zubairaev, Khamzat Chimaev responded to speculation about his upcoming fight with Sean Strickland. When asked if security would need to intervene if he got Strickland in a submission hold, Chimaev joked that killing someone is "haram" (forbidden in Islam). He clarified he has no intention of killing his opponent, adding that officials would not allow it anyway. Chimaev distinguished between street fighting and sport, saying on the street it would be different, but inside the cage it is a sporting contest. The exchange was lighthearted in nature.
