Khamzat Chimaev addressed speculation about his upcoming bout with Sean Strickland in an interview with Adam Zubairaev. When asked if he would refuse to release a submission hold on Strickland, requiring security intervention, Chimaev joked that he does not want to kill anyone because it is "haram" (forbidden in Islam). He clarified that while he is not planning to kill Strickland, security would not allow it anyway. Chimaev added that on the street the outcome might be different, but inside the cage it is a sport with rules and oversight.
