Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis training together in France

Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France, working under coach Nicolas Ott. The two lightweights were scheduled to fight each other a year ago, but the bout fell through, and now they're helping prepare each other. Alvarez is scheduled to face Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9th, while Saint-Denis does not have a fight announced yet. Alvarez revealed that Saint-Denis contacted him to arrange the training partnership and suggested that the Frenchman may have a bout lined up against an opponent with a similar style to Alvarez's, though Saint-Denis hasn't disclosed who.
