The bantamweight bout between Mitch Raposo (1-2 UFC) and Allan Nascimento (4-1 UFC) has been rescheduled for UFC Vegas 119 on June 20th. The fight was originally scheduled for this past weekend at UFC Winnipeg but was cancelled due to Raposo suffering from a viral illness. Both fighters will now have additional time to prepare for their rescheduled matchup. Raposo is looking to snap a two-fight skid while Nascimento aims to build on his current winning streak.
A bantamweight matchup that was pulled from last weekend's card in Winnipeg is back on the books. Mitch Raposo and Allan "Puro Osso" Nascimento have been rescheduled to meet at UFC Vegas 119 on June 20th, after Raposo was forced out of the original bout due to a viral illness.

Raposo, 27, enters the rescheduled fight looking to halt a two-fight losing streak. The American fighter out of Regiment Training Center carries an overall record of 11-3-0 and holds a 1-2 mark inside the UFC. Standing five-foot-five with a 64-inch reach, he operates out of a switch stance and averages 1.98 takedowns per 15 minutes, giving him a credible path to controlling opponents on the canvas.
Nascimento, known as "Puro Osso," brings considerably more UFC experience to the cage. The 34-year-old Brazilian trains out of Chute Boxe Diego Lima and holds a professional record of 22-7-0, going 4-1 under the UFC banner and currently riding a winning streak. At five-foot-eight with a 69-inch reach, he has a notable size advantage in the division. His striking output stands out — he lands 3.2 significant strikes per minute at 51 percent accuracy — and he also mixes in 0.9 submission attempts per 15 minutes, making him a well-rounded threat across multiple areas.

Why it matters
- Raposo needs a win to avoid slipping to 1-3 in the UFC, which could put his roster spot in jeopardy
- Nascimento has a chance to extend his winning streak and push toward the upper tier of the flyweight and bantamweight ranks
- The styles present an intriguing contrast: Raposo's grappling-oriented approach against Nascimento's high-volume, accurate striking and submission activity
- Both fighters gain several additional weeks of preparation following the Winnipeg cancellation, which could benefit the previously ill Raposo in particular
