Khamzat Chimaev will put his UFC middleweight championship on the line against Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 328, scheduled for May 9 in Newark, New Jersey, in what shapes up as one of the most anticipated title fights of 2026.

His wrestling is also credible, averaging 0.71 takedowns per 15 minutes, giving him a multi-dimensional threat profile heading into the contest.
