Burns vs Malott official; Volodin and Zheleznyakova make weight at UFC Winnipeg

The main event of UFC Winnipeg between Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott is officially confirmed after both fighters successfully made weight. Russian fighters Mark Volodin and Daria Zheleznyakova also passed the weigh-in procedure. Both Thiago Moises and John Castaneda made weight on their second attempts, ensuring all fights remain intact. Notably, Castaneda had requested a catchweight bout at 63 kg the previous evening, to which Volodin agreed. As a result of the weight change, Castaneda will forfeit 30% of his purse to Volodin.
