UFC Winnipeg main event official as Burns, Malott make weight; Vologdin agrees to catchweight

The main event of UFC Winnipeg is officially confirmed after Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott successfully made weight for their welterweight bout. Russian fighters Mark Vologdin and Daria Zheleznyakova also passed their weigh-ins without issue. Thiago Moises and John Castaneda made weight on their second attempts, keeping all scheduled fights intact. Notably, Castaneda requested a catchweight of 63 kg the evening before weigh-ins, which Vologdin agreed to accept. As a result of the weight accommodation, Castaneda will forfeit 30% of his purse to Vologdin. All bouts on the card are now officially proceeding as scheduled.
