Burns vs Malott official after UFC Winnipeg weigh-ins, all fights proceed

The main event of UFC Winnipeg between Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott is officially confirmed after both fighters successfully made weight. Russian fighters Mark Vologdin and Daria Zheleznyakova also passed the weigh-in process without issues. Thiago Moises and John Castaneda both made weight on their second attempts, ensuring all scheduled bouts will proceed as planned. Notably, Castaneda had requested a catchweight bout at 63 kg the previous evening, which Vologdin accepted. As part of the agreement, Castaneda will forfeit 30 percent of his fight purse to Vologdin. All fighters are now cleared to compete on the card.
