Burns vs Malott official, Vologdin and Zheleznyakova make weight at UFC Winnipeg

All fighters successfully made weight for UFC Winnipeg, with the main event between Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott now official. Russian fighters Mark Vologdin and Darya Zheleznyakova both made weight for their respective bouts. Thiago Moises and John Castaneda required a second attempt to make weight but ultimately succeeded. Notably, Castaneda had requested a catchweight bout at 63 kg the previous evening, which Vologdin accepted. As part of the agreement, Castaneda will forfeit 30% of his purse to Vologdin. All scheduled fights are now confirmed to proceed as planned.
