ACA president Magomed Magomedov gave a candid interview about doping control in the promotion, stating that more fighters use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean. He noted that fighters who take bouts on short notice are typically clean because they "haven't had time to apply anything." Magomedov explained that ACA gave fighters six months to clear their systems and began testing, but enforcement remains unclear. He acknowledged that drug testing is expensive and suggested Russian promotions should pool resources, though he doubts this will happen. ACA has data on which fighters use banned substances but has not decided whether to publicize the information or suspend offenders.
