ACA President admits majority of fighters use banned substances

ACA President Magomed Bubulatov candidly discussed the promotion's drug testing challenges in an interview with Ushatayka. He noted that fighters accepting bouts on short notice are typically clean because they "didn't have time to apply anything." When ACA introduced testing six months ago, they allowed fighters time to clear their systems and permitted certain recovery substances. The organization has data on all fighters' usage levels but hasn't decided on punishment protocols. Bubulatov stated comprehensive testing is expensive and would require cooperation among all Russian promotions, which he considers unlikely. He initially favored one-year suspensions for violators but is still deliberating on enforcement.
