Nikita Kulshin scores first-round KO at LFA, calls out UFC for short-notice opportunity

Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved his record to 9-0 with a first-round knockout victory over Junior Melo at LFA 231. The 26-year-old fighter from North Ossetia has now won all six of his LFA bouts over three years, with four consecutive decision wins prior to this knockout. After four years living and training in the United States at Kill Cliff gym, Kulshin grabbed the microphone post-fight to call out the UFC, stating he is ready to step in on short notice at any time. This knockout marks his second finish in the LFA promotion after winning his debut via KO.
