Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo early in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old North Ossetian fighter has been living in the United States for four years and trains at Kill Cliff gym. This was his sixth fight in LFA over three years, marking his sixth consecutive victory in the promotion. After four straight decision wins in LFA, Kulshin returned to his knockout form, having also won his LFA debut by KO. Following the victory, Kulshin grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, declaring he is ready to fight on short notice at any time.
