Topuria and Makhachev clash over White House event fight negotiations

Ilia Topuria claims he was told he would fight Islam Makhachev at the White House event, but hours before the announcement, he was informed Makhachev was injured and he would face Justin Gaethje instead. Topuria questioned why Makhachev doesn't want to fight him. Makhachev responded that he accepted the White House fight offer, but the next day was told Topuria requested a huge fee and was denied. Makhachev accused Topuria of refusing the fight and lying about the situation. The exchange also included comments from Jorge Masvidal and Orion Cosce backing Sean Strickland against Khamzat Chimaev, and Dricus du Plessis stating Israel Adesanya was his most technical opponent while noting Chimaev didn't make his top list because he doesn't consider their encounter a real fight.
