Strickland calls out Chimaev after visiting his training area

Sean Strickland was in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev currently trains, and repeatedly tagged his location on social media throughout the day hoping to encounter Chimaev's team. Strickland addressed comments Chimaev allegedly made about trying to kill him on the street. He stated he was only ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and that fighters training with Chimaev who follow him on social media would have seen his location tags. Strickland expressed disappointment that Chimaev did not show up and warned that he is the last guy in America Chimaev should confront. The incident adds to the ongoing feud between the two middleweights.
