Strickland spent day in Newport Beach near Chimaev's gym after street fight comments

Sean Strickland spent an entire day in Newport Beach, California, the location where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training, after Chimaev allegedly said he would try to kill Strickland on the street. Strickland continuously tagged his location throughout the day on social media, staying approximately 10 minutes from Chimaev's gym, expecting a confrontation. He stated that fighters who train with Chimaev follow him on social media and should have seen his location posts. Strickland expressed disappointment that Chimaev did not show up, saying he was hoping for the encounter. He concluded by saying Chimaev should not be making threats to him, calling himself the last guy in America Chimaev should mess with.
