Sean Strickland spent day in Newport Beach near Chimaev's gym

Sean Strickland revealed he spent an entire day in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev currently trains, hoping to confront him. Strickland says he was reacting to Chimaev's alleged statement about trying to kill him on the street. He tagged his location throughout the day on social media, knowing fighters who train with Chimaev follow him and would see the posts. Strickland was just ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and expected him to show up, stating he is the last guy in America Chimaev should mess with. Chimaev never appeared during Strickland's visit.
