Strickland challenges Chimaev after spending day near his gym in Newport Beach

Sean Strickland spent an entire day in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training, in an apparent attempt to confront him. Strickland continuously tagged his location in social media stories throughout the day, hoping to encounter Chimaev's team. He was motivated by reports that Chimaev said he would try to kill him on the street. Strickland was located just ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and claims that people training with Chimaev follow him on social media and would have seen his location tags. Despite his efforts and expectation that Chimaev would show up, no meeting occurred. Strickland stated he is the last person in America that Chimaev should mess with.
