Mark Vologdin discussed the emotions from his UFC debut fight, particularly addressing his defensive lapses in the third round. When asked why he kept his hands very low and absorbed many strikes despite his corner's warnings, Vologdin explained he was fighting on instinct. He admitted that even when getting hit, he kept thinking his opponent wouldn't knock him down even with his hands lowered, acknowledging this was foolish. Vologdin stated he doesn't care what people write about him leaving his health in the octagon or criticisms about the level of competition and technique. He emphasized that he chose this path himself and simply enjoyed the experience.
