Mark Vologdin reflected on his UFC debut performance, specifically addressing his hand positioning in the third round. When asked why he kept his hands very low and absorbed many strikes despite corner advice, Vologdin explained he was fighting on instinct. He admitted he kept thinking his opponent wouldn't knock him down even with lowered hands, acknowledging this was foolish. Vologdin stated he chose this path himself and doesn't care about criticism regarding technique or leaving his health on the line. He emphasized that he simply enjoyed the experience of fighting in the UFC.
