Sean Strickland visited Khamzat Chimaev's training location, challenged him to meet

Sean Strickland spent a day in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training, attempting to provoke a face-to-face encounter. Strickland continuously tagged his location on social media stories throughout the day, making his whereabouts known to Chimaev's team who follow him. He stated he was just ten minutes away from Chimaev's gym along the street. Strickland responded to Chimaev's previous comment about trying to kill him on the street, saying he expected Chimaev to show up but he never did. Strickland claimed he is "the last guy in America" Chimaev should be threatening, expressing disappointment that no confrontation occurred.
