Strickland spends day in Newport Beach near Chimaev's gym, no encounter

Strickland tagged his location throughout the day on social media, hoping to encounter Chimaev's team. He addressed Chimaev's alleged comment about wanting to kill him on the street, noting he was just ten minutes from Chimaev's gym. Strickland posted multiple Instagram stories with location tags, knowing that people who train with Chimaev follow him and would see them. Despite being nearby all day, no encounter occurred, with Strickland remarking that he expected Chimaev to show up but he did not.
