Strickland tags Newport Beach location near Chimaev's gym, no confrontation

Sean Strickland spent the day in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training, and repeatedly tagged his location on social media hoping to encounter Chimaev's team. Strickland was responding to comments Chimaev allegedly made about trying to kill him on the street. Strickland was approximately ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and believed fighters training with Chimaev saw his story tags. Despite his public location sharing throughout the day, no meeting occurred. Strickland suggested he expected Chimaev to show up and positioned himself as someone Chimaev should not provoke.
