Strickland spends day in Newport Beach near Chimaev's gym after callout

Sean Strickland was in Newport Beach, California yesterday, the same location where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training. Strickland spent the entire day tagging his location on social media stories, hoping to encounter Chimaev's team after seeing posts where Chimaev allegedly said he would try to kill Strickland on the street. Strickland stated he was only ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and that fighters training with Chimaev follow him on social media and would have seen his location tags. He expressed disappointment that Chimaev did not show up despite being so close. Strickland positioned himself as someone Chimaev should not confront in America.
