Strickland says he spent day near Chimaev's gym hoping for confrontation

Sean Strickland revealed he spent an entire day in Newport Beach, California, near where Khamzat Chimaev currently trains, hoping to confront the Chechen fighter. Strickland posted his location repeatedly on social media stories throughout the day, noting he was only ten minutes from Chimaev's gym. He claims members of Chimaev's team follow him on social media and would have seen his location tags. Strickland responded to reports that Chimaev said he would try to kill Strickland in a street fight, calling himself "the last guy in America" Chimaev should threaten. The confrontation Strickland anticipated never materialized.
