Strickland spends day in Newport Beach trying to confront Chimaev's team

Sean Strickland was in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training, attempting to encounter Chimaev's team. Throughout the day, Strickland tagged his location on social media stories, responding to reports that Chimaev had said he would try to kill Strickland on the street. Strickland stayed within ten minutes of Chimaev's gym and noted that people training with Chimaev follow him on social media and would have seen his location posts. He stated he expected Chimaev to show up, calling himself the last person in America that Chimaev should mess with. Chimaev ultimately did not appear.
