Sean Strickland visits Newport Beach seeking confrontation with Chimaev's team

Sean Strickland spent the day in Newport Beach, California, the city where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training, deliberately tagging his location on social media throughout the day in hopes of encountering Chimaev's team. Strickland addressed reports of Chimaev saying he would try to kill him on the street, stating he was only ten minutes from Chimaev's gym all day. He noted that fighters who train with Chimaev follow him on social media and would have seen his location tags. Strickland expressed that he expected Chimaev to show up, declaring himself "the last guy in America" Chimaev should be calling out.
