Strickland visits Newport Beach near Chimaev's training location, no confrontation

Sean Strickland spent yesterday in Newport Beach, California, the same city where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training. Throughout the day, Strickland continuously tagged his location on his Instagram stories, making his whereabouts known in hopes of encountering Chimaev's team. Strickland referenced comments from Chimaev about wanting to fight him in the streets, stating he was only ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and that fighters who train with Chimaev follow him on social media and would have seen his location posts. Strickland expressed that he expected Chimaev to show up, describing himself as "the last guy in America" Chimaev should be calling out. Despite Strickland's public presence in the area, no confrontation occurred.
