Sean Strickland spends day in Newport Beach near Chimaev's gym, no confrontation

Sean Strickland deliberately spent time in Newport Beach, California, where Khamzat Chimaev is currently training. Throughout the day, Strickland tagged his location on social media stories, hoping to encounter Chimaev's team. He referenced something he saw about Chimaev saying he would try to kill Strickland on the street. Strickland was only ten minutes from Chimaev's gym and noted that people training with Chimaev follow him on social media and would have seen his posts. Despite making his presence known all day, no confrontation occurred. Strickland described himself as "the last guy in America" Chimaev should mess with.
