Islam Makhachev has once again drawn attention to what he describes as a major problem in Dagestan regarding chaotic and low-quality construction. Makhachev highlighted the issue of haphazard building projects, including poorly planned residential complexes built closely together and unauthorized construction. He previously called on regional leadership to address the construction problem 17 days ago during flooding in Dagestan, describing Makhachkala as having turned into one chaotic construction site. Most recently, Makhachev reposted content from geographer Dmitry Koryukhin showing aerial photographs that illustrate the urban planning issues.
