Islam Makhachev criticizes chaotic construction in Dagestan

Islam Makhachev has once again drawn attention to what he calls the major problem of "chaotic construction" in Dagestan. He highlighted issues including low-quality residential complexes built too close together and numerous unauthorized self-built structures. Seventeen days ago, as flooding ravaged Dagestan, Makhachev appealed to regional leadership to address construction issues, stating that Makhachkala has turned into one massive chaotic construction site. Today he reposted content from geographer Dmitry Koryukhin, a teacher in Dagestan, who shared aerial photographs showing the urban disaster in Makhachkala. The post praises Makhachev for recognizing this problem and bringing attention to it.
