Aljamain Sterling has disclosed that he was close to being finished by a guillotine choke from Youssef Zalal in their recent fight. Sterling admitted he thought he might pass out from the submission but refused to tap. He said he couldn't allow Zalal the satisfaction of making him submit. Sterling managed to escape the dangerous position and went on to win the fight. The former bantamweight champion showed his toughness by surviving the close call.
