Kholmirzaev claims ONE flyweight title; Rodtang suffers first stoppage loss

At ONE Samurai 1, Avazbek Kholmirzaev became the new ONE flyweight MMA champion by knocking out Yuya Wakamatsu in round two. The 25-year-old Kholmirzaev improved to 16-2 overall and 10-1 in ONE, displaying excellent striking, timing, creativity, and finishing instinct. In another major result, Muay Thai and kickboxing legend Rodtang Jitmuangnon suffered his first stoppage loss in 13 years, being TKO'd by Takeru Segawa in round five of their kickboxing bout.
