Carlos Prates has achieved the fastest accumulation of seven knockout victories in UFC history, doing so in just eight fights. The previous record holders, Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, both heavyweights, required nine fights. Only 2.29% of UFC fighters (62 out of 2,710) have ever achieved seven knockouts in their UFC careers over the promotion's 33-year history. Prates also holds the record for fastest 14 knockdowns in UFC history, accomplished in just 17 incomplete rounds, and the highest average knockdown percentage per 15 minutes of fight time. Additionally, he earned seven Performance of the Night bonuses faster than any fighter in UFC history, doing so in eight fights compared to the average of 15 fights. The post suggests that if Islam Makhachev defeats Ian Garry and Prates, he would equal Jon Jones's legacy, and defeating Shavkat Rakhmonov would surpass it.
