Sean Brady disclosed that his bout with Michael Morales was in jeopardy during fight week due to undisclosed medical issues with the athletic commission. Despite having an excellent training camp, Brady said he couldn't perform as expected and offered no excuses for Morales's victory. He explained that on Thursday, they learned the fight might not happen, and uncertainty continued through Friday. Brady only received confirmation that the bout would proceed on Saturday evening, just before heading to the venue. He acknowledged that the behind-the-scenes situation prevented him from being fully focused, but took responsibility, saying he should have been completely concentrated regardless. Brady emphasized the lesson that during the 15 or 25 minutes of a fight, a fighter must be entirely in the moment.
