Mateusz Gamrot has shared his perspective that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable and in many ways more modern than the United States. In a podcast interview, the UFC lightweight detailed specific examples, including outdated payment technology in American restaurants and superficial social interactions. Gamrot contrasted Polish hospitality, where guests are fed and welcomed warmly, with American experiences where he was invited to barbecues but had to bring his own food. He noted that while the USA offers career advantages for fighters, everyday life quality is not necessarily better. Gamrot also mentioned that his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland over staying in Florida, suggesting that home remains more comfortable despite the appeal of American training facilities.
