Russian MMA fighters have been permitted to compete at international youth tournaments with their national flag and anthem. Mikhail Degtyarev announced that winners of the Russian Championship for athletes aged 12 to 17, held in Alushta, will be able to participate in IMMAF international competitions this year. The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation has also restored the membership of the Union MMA of Russia. This represents a significant development for young Russian fighters seeking international competition opportunities.
