Russian mixed martial arts fighters have been cleared to participate in international youth tournaments under their national flag and anthem. Winners of the Russian championship for athletes aged 12 to 17, held in Alushta, will be eligible to compete at IMMAF events later this year. The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation has also restored the membership of the Union of MMA of Russia. This development reverses previous restrictions and allows young Russian fighters to represent their country openly at sanctioned international youth competitions.
